São Tomé is a picturesque island situated off the African coast.
With a population of under 200,000 inhabitants, half of whom are under 20 years old, the country is confronting significant challenges ahead.
Educational infrastructure is lacking, and the gap of endemic poverty is widening. There is a pressing need for educational support and professional training for the youth.
